मावळा मेलबोर्नचा फोटो आवडला, त्यासोबत तुम्ही एडीट देखील छान केले आहे. जास्वद दुसरा फोटो झकास! कधी कोणी डोगरावरून खाली ढग पाहीले आहेत का? मी १६ वर्षापुर्वी दिवाळीसाठी माथेरानला गेलो होतो तेव्हाची आठवण झाली. हॅपी दिवाळी

yes they are seagulls ..very easy to shoot birds....some time very aggresive..if they are in group and they see food in your hand.

खूप सुंदर आलाय हा फोटो मावळा पण तू उगाच त्याला कृतिम रंग चढवलेस.. ते काढुन मुळ छायाचित्र इथे टाकले असते तर आणखी मजा आली असती. एकदा मला बगळ्यांची माळ टिपायची होती. इतक्या वेळा ती माळ आली अन् गेली पण एकदाही कॅमेरात तिला बंद करायला जमले नाही. माझ्याकडे tripod stand नाही आणि माझ्यामते उडत्या चित्रांसाठी tripod must आहे. नाहीतर चित्र हलल्यासारखे होते. even चंद्र टिपायलाही tripod च हवा. नाहीतर तो शाई जशी फ़ुटते तसा फ़ुटतो. Am I right, Mawla?

Bee..ur right....tripod is necessary for long lenses and for slow shutterspeed. but it is good habbit to use it all time.
This pic. was taken without stand cause it was bright sunny day which allowed me to use fast shutterspeed and I had no plans to take the picture, I shoot it just like that. There are many problems in this picture like composition etc..some of the problems we can see but some can't it needs expert's eye.
I havn't added any colour to it...infact it has very low color information cause sun is behind the birds, which I took out (Desaturate) using PS. these kind of pictures are called as "High Key"....if you googled "high key portrait" you will find information. Few months back I was fan of these kind of pictures at all but I read a book "High key Portrait by Norman Phillips" ( it's library book, I am planning to scan the book, let me know if anyone needs )and then I liked the idea and understood that it is another difficult branch of photography and expensive cause it needs studio lights.

Mawla, if it was really bright sunny day then the sky should look blue. Here its gray and gloomy. Hence, I think its still loosing its origionality.
