S3, like any other powershot should be a good 'digicam'. You may also want to look at Nikon coolpix 8*** series.

I was wondering how many of you are really willing to write BBC to express your displeasure? or anybody wants to suggest me not to write?
In my personal opinion, this is an invasion into those pilgrims' privacy which is very much 'respected' in western world.
On the top of this, this picture look like have been sent by an Indian.

The rumor is right then, D40 is a reality. I might get a chance to test one for a couple of days.

Sad but true. I got to know from one of the photographer based in India (an american) that there are many people who for few rupees take the photographers to the best spot. :mad:
The usual reply from BBC will be 'no reply' or at the most 'pictures do not identifiable person/ask the photographer or agency'.
