will u be more specific abt ur bad experirences from 9278.i ahve been taking cards from there and till now have got good service.so would like to know if there r some faults which i haven't encountered till now but may do so in future.thanx it will be really helpful.

callnation cha 1 mth aadhi ek card hota 3.5$/26 min / 30 sec rounding.. te card khup changala hota pan 15 divasch..nantar service kahrab hoti.. same is with reliablecom.com.. jar card min$/max min.. aahe tar te introduce kela ki 1 week or so nit chalta mag service kharab.. nahi tar best option manje Africa vaigare chi card jee aapalya saNa vaigare chya divshi pan nit chaltat... ikade nahi tar specifically DC/VA/MD PLUS aasa card aahe 10$/46 min/1 min rounding.. very good service.. connection nakki milte aani cust service pan changali aahe.

Hi ppl..
now a days simple2call is going really good.. its nearly 50% cheaper than other cards especially if u r calling in Mumbai.. response is really good and no lagging.. quality is really good... 5 cards in $10 of 105 mins when calling to Mumbai.. just wanted to share with u all which I m enjoying so far!!

I got a call from a telephone company named WorldCom. The representative was Indian and offered a good rate that is 23 cents to India. Does anybody have experience with this company? How was the service?

Ashwini, why don't you use some good phone cards. More and more people have shifted towards using them. With good cards like TCC Pro Asia, you get 40 minutes for $8 (about 20 cents per min) and they are really good quality and connection. Plus you don't have to pay the extra taxes associated with these phone companies apart from their high rates.

Thanks chafa. I never used phonecards before. I had heard not so good stories about them from frineds before. Currently I am getting a very good rate from Primus which is 29 cents. I have been using that for about an year now and it's good quality. Phone cards might be worth trying though.

Ashwini, I am also using primus with 29 and 39cents, but if you go to their site it says India is now 24.5 cents all over, I am trying to reach their customer service via e-mail which is bouncing back, need to try with phone. You too try to reach them and check the new rate.

Primus is offering 24cents for quite a long time now. However, you need to call them to switchover, It is not automatic.

My exp. with Worldcom is utterly useless.
worthless characters. First they call with a good plan (an indian for me too) then, they did not notify the local company of transfer of service, so that I got bill from AT&T that charged me thrice the rate(thank god I used Rediff, and had not made many calls through AT&T). We had to argue, and AT&T waiwed the amount if we switched to them....
Now Worldcom have been calling me again to ask me to switch back... When I told them that I switch because of bad service, their point man did not even care to ask what the problem was.. all he said was "oh, ok"... not even a good day...

at&T rocks as far as call quality is concerned. 33c/min - expensive compared to calling cards - but i get through at first try, anytime of the day, anyday of the week

Few weeks b4 i used card from the site http://www.wcdi.com. I had good experience of this card. This card does not deduct minutes. But not useful for cell phones. It will give u 205 mins. for $20. SO u can try this.
