Saw a good Telugu movie (Anukokunda Oka Roju) today. The story: Sahasra is a singer struggling to make a career in playback singing. One night she attends a wild party at the behest of her friend. The next day, life seems as usual for Sahasra, only she is oblivious of one small detail, the next day is actually the day after. And she is completely unaware of what happened during that one missing day in her life. She realizes something is amiss only when, a few days later, she is chased by unidentified men who try to eliminate her. The rest of the story is about finding the missing links and putting together the jigsaw puzzle.
Very nice direction, every scene is a surprise with suspense till end. DVD with subtitles is available.
And yes, hindi remake is coming, the name is 'Sunday' featuring Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor and Arshad Warsi. Hope they don't spoil the good story. Instead, they should dubb the movie.

The Pursuit Of Happyness पाहिला, Wilbur Smith आणि त्याच्या मुलाचा रोल मस्त आहे. एकदा नक्कीच पाहण्यासारखा. ता रा रम पम ची आठवण होते.

आणि हो ते happyness typo नाही बरं का, तसेच स्पेलिंग आहे त्या चित्रपटाचे, कारण त्याला चित्रपटातच एक छोटासा संदर्भ आहे.
Manuswini rediff मधे तर बरा review आला होता, चोरलेला असेल तरी बघण्यासारखा तरी आहे का?
आणि "गफला" कोणी पाहिला आहे का? कसा आहे?

पिक्सारचा Ratatoille (Rat-a-too-ee) बघितला का कुणी? मला खुप आवडला. मी परत एकदा बघणार आहे. त्यातला उंदीर एकदम cute वाटतो. माझ्यामते सगळ्या ऍनिमेशन मुव्ही ( animation कसे लिहायचे मराठीत?) मध्ये लहाना पासुन मोठ्या पर्यन्त सगळ्या वयोगटाल्या लोकांसाठी काही ना काही तरी असते.

Ravisha चुकले आहे ते पण typo नाही मी खरच समजत होतो त्याचे नाव ते, आत्ता मग तुझी कॉमेंट बघून सर्च केले, आणि मग समजले.
केदार गॉडफादर विसरलो टाकायचा आणि Clint Eastwood चे Dirty Harry वाले पाहिले नाहीत आणि western ते आत्ता नीट आठवत नाहीत.
जुने काही आठवले तर सांगतो, एक लक्षात आहे तो A Fish Called Wanda

जुना सौदागर बघितला. अमिताभ आणि नुतन यांच अत्युत्तम अभिनय , सशक्त कथा आणि सरस दिग्दर्शन यांच्यामुळे अजिबात चुकवु नये असा चित्रपट. now one of my all time favourites!

केदार, जुना बघायचा असेल तर आकिरा कुरोसावा चा १९५२ चा "इकिरु" Ikiru बघ, साधा सुंदर आहे, बघुन मन हेलावुन जाते
एक कारकुन आयुष्यभर खर्डेघशी करतो, पन जेव्हा त्याला कळते कि तो काही दिवसात मरणार आहे तेव्हा तो समाजा साठी काहितरी चांगले करायचे ठरवितो, त्यात त्याला प्रचन्ड अडचणी येतात. A must see for every one, highly recommended . इथे आहे बघ: ईकिरु
त्याचा Seven Samurai पण चांगला आहे (विनोदी).
१९५०-७० मधले काही चांगले चित्रपट Lawrence of Arabia, North by Northwest, Rear Window, Vertigo
आत्ताच Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix बघुन आलो, ठिक आहे, काही एवढा खास नाही. अनावश्यक drama भरला आहे. फ़क्त १५ मिनिटे 3D आहे, मधेच 3D चालु होतो आणि मघेच normal, thats funny, distrubs continuity
ghajini बद्दल आधी लिहिले आहे.

'Just Married" (Isha Deol ani Fardeen Khan) chaan aahe. Prefered it to Honeymoon Travels..
