Yosemite is like heaven  and this is the perfect time for visiting. All the snow must be melted and waterfalls will be in full flow. All the passes will be open. Food vagaire vyavasthit ahe .. we had few PURE vegetarians , %yaanaa doiKla vyavaisqat Kayalaa imaLalao. If you have time visit Sequoia and kings canyon which is next to it.

although I have no doubt that building that dam was a engineering feat, I believe its popularity has to do with effective marketing by US government agencies (local/state/federal etc.). You can find many such "must see"s in US which aren't really that great, but are marketed quite wisely.

नायगारा पहायला एक दिवस पुरतो.. तो पण लहान मोठ्या Rides धरून... नीट plan करून जा... जून, जुलै मधले w/e तुफान गर्दी असते...
तसंच बरोबर थंडी निवारणार्थ कपडे घेऊन जाच, नाही तर वार्यामुळे हाल होतात... बाकी मोटारगाडीने जायला हरकत नाही, सात आठ तास लागतील.. तीस चाळीस मैल अलिकडे राहिलं तर Hotel स्वस्त मिळतात.. आणि तिथे खायला प्यायला ढाबे सुध्दा आहेत, तेव्हा Problem नाही..
मी अमेरिकेच्या बाजूने म्हणतोय....
