Craigslist has recently added Pune to their list of cities. This is a Classified site ,which is hugely popular worldwide (mainly in US). You can buy sell items, post jobs and services like finding room mates, rooms available for rent etc. Here is the website address : http://pune.craigslist.org/

Recently came accross www.journeymart.com
Its a travel related site, but they give you very nice wallpapers for your computer screen. These wallpapers are updated every month with the calendar for that month. You may also subscribe to their email, then they will email you the wallpaper every month. But I just visit the website every month and download the new wallpaper. The link is on the bottom right side of their home page under journey post section --> July calendar.

योगी, सहीच आहे ही लिन्क. असे वाटते आपले घर त्यात कुठे दिसते का? किंवा जिथे जिथे झूमची सोय केली आहे ती इमारात मोठी दिसेल का? मी अजूनही बघतो आहे ही लिन्क. सध्या अकोला बघुन आलो. आणि अकोल्याची काही स्थळे तिथे दाखवली आहेत. चांगला आहे हा DATABASE .

अस्वला, यापेक्षा google earth beta version चे फोटो क्लीअर आहेत. मोठे आहेत. आता पुणे आणि नाशिक हाय रेझाॅल्युशनवर आले आहेत. हाही तोच डाटाबेस आहे असे वाटते.फक्त लॅन्ड डिटेल्समध्ये कलर स्कीम वेगळी आहे असे दिसते.... नळ स्टाॅपच्या सिग्नलची वाहने सारखीच दिसताहेत दोन्हीकडे....

रॉबीन, एक सांगाल का? हा जो डेटाबेस आहे तो खरच satellite through तयार केला आहे का? म्हणजे सगळे काही जसेच्या तसे दिसते..

कारण वर योगीनी जी लिन्क दिली आहे त्यावरुन असे वाटते हे काम automatic झालेले असावे.

automatic म्हणजे? ती सॅटेलाईट इमेजरीच आहे. गम्मत म्हणजे या बाबतीत भारत फार पुढे आहे.भारताच्या विविध उपग्रहांमुळे आपल्याकडे अगदी १ फूट resolution चे देखील फोटो आहेत. म्हणून मध्ये हे फोटो इतराना विकून परकिय चलन मिळवावे अशीही एक सूचना आली होती...
