Please dont take this as I am arguing here with anybody or with you.

I never said that boys from village make fun of girls.
You have said, no one should point to any girl "phalatu " if she behaves against certain village norms etc
so I commented if any boy or people from village does so to any girl from your group just because girl
from your group did not put "tikali" so I said so.

secondly, I was NOT at all discussing here what is right or wrong in "city life or vilalge life and its priorities"

I guess I do have good understanding of Vilalge VS City and its limitations, differences. Ok.

My point is totally missed here and wrongly misunderstood.

my point,
1) All these old orthodox rules for widow or for that matter for any girl ,who has designed? or who has written them?
and why only for girls? is a age old discussion of argument even in todays times. But fact remains SAME that the one who wrote was a MAN.

2) As for "independance". I purely mean every individual reserve the right to do certain things .

it does not mean he or she can OR would always do something to prove as a rebellion or want to go against social norms.


3) my most important point is that , all these rules & regulations are implemented from so many ages ONLY
for women and they are still in the system.
Some MEN inspite of being educated still behave and think or have an attitude that they can still "rule" a women and talk in the same manner. When I see this attitude that surprises me.
To begin with this discussion what was most objectionable (thats why I posted) that "attitude" of a person
to indicate, see thats how I controlled the group of girls?

1)Who has given right to the person to contorl other person?

2_why cant girls for their own choice and liking do soemthing what pleases them if its not hurting anybody
or so called social norms?? You do the things so you in a way say that "tikali is a MUST by giving a support of science ,hindu mythology etc.
then why not toher perosn can do per her wishes?

And basic reason that these suffocating rules are not changing purely because of this attitude.

4) I strongly believe one msut not IMPOSE his wishes or liking in anything.
