I don't like people taking anonymous names
Probabaly
1. Allow creator of BB to edit the contents of BB.
2. Permission to edit your own messages without any restriction of time.
3. Easier interface to change colors, fonts.
But still it's great site.

There is problem of setting up Admin authority
for Craettor of BB . Because generally who creates
BB dis-appears after starting & others talk more on that BB . We have remeber that there are categories i) regular writes ii) Regular Visitors
iii) Occausional Writers/Visitors
So i don't think that idea much feasible.
Also people can create multiple profiles so they
can still hide identity .

so as I understand, we should not allow multiple profiles? Is that you suggestion?
We can restrict one account per email. But there are so many free email services available.
Or shall we put restriction that new users have to be approved by me? So only seriously interested people with join?

thanks for your suggestion. Fake email id creates administrative issues for us. So we do not want to encourage those.
We will look into your suggestion about deleting the BB.

-- When we post new message. We have to provide user name & Password. So I think it's not possible to post Message with other's Identity [ Unless you know the username & password ]
So No need to show IP address.
You can Allow One Userprofile per IP Address . It may help to restrict dummy identities.
[ If he/she like to have more user profile ( IF other family members are also doing Higuj from same PC), One may request you to allow other identities . ]

Admin: Allow me to philosophize. "You cannot legislate morality!" If people want to, they can bypass all your restrictions.
My opinion is that anybody who wants to write here must register with a valid mail id (Not necessarily real name). By valid, I mean, the person should be actually using it. So that, if anybody complains about, say, zakki, an obvious false name, admin sends e-mail on the address on file with a three-day notice to reply or else cancel the privileges of 'zakki'. If zakki says oh, I was busy, I was on vacation etc. it does not matter, if Zakki is legit, he/she will re-register in two minutes and be back in the business, to bore/enlighten/delight others.

we can create shortform for Kiran font. The only thing is you have to make it available for free and in the public domain so that anybody can change it.
It is good to see different opinions on ip address. We will keep our current status, meaning not showing IP address on the messages. I can always see those if required.
Going further a valid and current email address is required. So when somebody registers, he/she will have to reply back from that address for verification.

yes.. this reply from that address is a good idea.. though some people can cheet by creating a fixicious mail id still this will work to some extent?? Or unless u are sure about the actual name & address of a person do not wllow him / her to participate as since we are not going to abuse / insult anybody on this site there is really no need to hide real information i feel..

Let him give fictitious email. Our aim is to prevent the misuse/abuse of this site by anybody.
If the email is not valid, registration process will not continue. This is a very good idea.
Also, If at all a warning is to be sent, admin will sent the warning to this address before deleting his account.
Admin, one more suggession is that
if a person has not used his account for say 1 year, his account will automatically be ceased, this is required because the new members are forced to generate their login names different than their names (if they wish to) because the account is already exists and not used. Also this will reduce some server overhead of maintaining unused accounts.
regarding Kiran Font, I don't have any objection to give it to the public for FREE. In fact, I've developed that font keeping this as a prime objective into mind. I'm sending the font to you by e-mail, please make it available to public and have their feedbacks.

I don't know if this is a right place to say this. If this is not the right place, admin please delete this message.
Recently maayboli varche sarva topic reorganize kele aahet. e.g. recipe, views and comments etc. though this categorization is perfect I am feeling I am just travlleing too many links to reach the real topic or to view the latest topic being discussed. Or even sometimes not really keen to travel all those links to comment on anyone of them which I would have done provided hierarchy was bit more flat as I could have seen all the topics discussed in short glance.
I don't know if anybody feels that way, just thought of writing it here.

Have you used "last day" or "tree view" links on the left menu bar? You can just jump to any topic that way. Or even using that you still feel there are too many links to click?
In you profile you can set which topics are favorite and in your next "last day" search only those will be shown to you
