Looking for general information about the satelite tv. We are having problems with the signal for the TV (Sony Television) due to poor signal. We live in Göttingen, Germany.

Hi Prashant , you may be using EutelSat transmission . Signal weak aahe , but try to use good quality LNB. and get it correctly focussed.

Yes, it is SET ASIA. And wind is the culprit. I have to adjust everynow and then...and Germany-wind go hand in hand.
In germany we get it via 'hotbird 1-6'. I could see it for last three months by small adjustments in case of wind etc but now it is not possible. I might buy another LNB.
Where are you from Athak?

Does the inline-line amplifier help? I guess not as it is meant for the 'loss' due to cable lenght etc.

I have Hotbird 1 (Europe Sat) , Nile Sat , Insat2E , PAS 10 Sat dishes connected . Hotbird's few transponders signal very weak. after changing LNB did help . Also quality of Dig. receiver , cable length make diff. too.
No line amplifier wont help . Cable waale use karataat thats only for distance transmission. original signal boost naahi hot. In your case if cable length jaasti asel tar you may try .

LNB - either Goldsat or Philips in Germany KU-Band
arey I have 4 dishes connected thro a switch 4 in-1 out to our digitial receiver .
I am in Q8 .

What is Q8?
The LNB you mention is an UniversalLNB or? With a single 'output' to the receiver or?
I will try to find the one you mention in SATURN/Mediamarkt or some such shop this saturday. Let me know any other details that might help.

खूप चांगली service आणि प्रक्षेपण Digital .. आणि Comcast सारखे दर दोन महिन्यानी किम्मत वाढवत नाहीत..
