झकास फोटू अन् परिक्षण...
मुजीक मधलं re-mix सिनेमातही आलंय.. SRK चा डॉन असाच re-mix आहे.. (म्हणूनच पहायची इच्छा सुद्धा नाही... हे परीक्षण वाचल्यावर तर फुकटातसुद्धा पहायची इच्छा नाही..). एकूणातच original creations चे तीन तेरा वाजवायचे दिवस आहेत सध्याचे.. अजून कशा कशाचे तीन तेरा वाजणार आहेत आणि कसे वाजवले जाणार आहेत हे पहाणेच आपल्या नशीबी आहे..

राहुल, अमिताभचे फोटो आणि मुळ डॉन बद्दलची माहिती अगदी जबरी! शाहरूख बद्दल या चित्रपटाच्या संदर्भात लिहिलेले सुद्धा बर्‍यापैकी मान्य.
फक्त त्याच्या स्वदेस, कुछ कुछ होता है, मै हू ना वगैरे चित्रपटांमधे तो अतिशय आवडण्यासारखा आहे असे निदान मला वाटते. आणि त्याला अभिनय येत नाही हे ही जरा न पटण्यासारखे आहे. एव्हढी वर्षे इतकी प्रचंड लोकप्रियता केवळ काही बिनडोक रसिकांमुळे मिळेल असे वाटत नाही. जस्ट माझे मत.
या पोस्ट मधल्याही काही गोष्टी पटतात का बघा, विशेषत्: शाहरूख बद्दल आणि गाण्यांच्या चित्रिकरणाबद्दल.
तसेच त्या चित्रपटांच्या बीबीवर मुळ डॉन सुद्धा काही विशेष नव्हता असे काही लोकांनी म्हंटले आहे, त्यांनीही जरा डिटेल सांगितले तर बरे होईल.
सॉरी राहुल, हा बीबी हायजॅक करायचा विचार नाही, केवळ याच विषयावर आहे म्हणून.
बाकी अमिताभ आणि मुळ डॉन बद्दल काही प्रश्नच नाही.

अमिताभ बनना मुष्कील हि नही नामुम्कीन है शाहरुख!
अमिताभ चा विषय निघाला म्हणुन एक गोष्ट सांगतो.
त्याचा प्रतिक्षा वर त्याला भेटायला मी व माझी बायको गेलो. तिथे व्दारपालाने अडवले. क्या काम है असे विचारले. मी म्हणालो मै उनको पैचानता हु. मुझे उनसे मिलने का है. त्याला गोची लक्षात आली नाही व त्याने दार उघडले. गाडी मध्ये घेताच त्याला लक्षात आले की क्या गोच है मग त्याने परत वापस बोलावीले. साहेबांचे दर्शन झालेच नाही.
रिमेक करायला हरकत नाही पण ते ही बघन्या सारखे झाले पाहीजेत. जसे Italian Job .
एकतर शाहरुख ला प्रेम सोडुन दुसर्या कुठल्याही टाईपचा अभिनय येत नाही. शिवाय त्याचा चेहर्यात ते करारीपण नाही. एकवेळ अनिल कपुर किंवा अभिषेक असला असता तर चालले असते.

कोणे एके काळी SRK मला देखिल आवडला होता पण तो फ़क्त DDLJ मुळे. somehow DDLJ मला अजूनही खूप आवडतो. आणि त्यातला शाहरुख पण.
पण SRK अजून अजून डोक्यात शिरायला लागला आहे. नविन डॉन बघायची माझी हिम्मत नाही. मी अमितभच्या भुमिकेत त्याला सहनच करु शकणार नाही.

मस्त लेख राहूल. मला तर तो शाहरुख केंव्हाही ड ड ड ड डॉन क क को प प प पकडना असे तोतरे बोलायला सुरूवात करेल असे वाटत होते.
बहुतेक सर्व हिंदी चित्रपट हे मंदबुद्धी प्रेक्षकांकरता बनवले असतात की काय अशी मला नेहेमी शंका येते. आणि ते चालतात पण याची गंमत वाटते. डॉनही तसलाच.
बाकी केवळ शाहरुखच आवडणार्‍या नव्हे तर एकुणच चित्रपट तारे तारका त्यांची कल्पित प्रकरणे यावर स्वत : चा वेळ खर्च करून वाचन, चर्चा वगैरे करणार्‍यांबद्दल मला फारच अचंबा वाटत आला आहे. (ज्याची त्याची आवड हे मान्य आहेच)
टीप : अचंबा म्हणजे आश्चर्य, त्याचा मुरांब्याशी काही संबंध नाही हे मी कुणी शब्दार्थावर विचारण्यापुर्वीच स्पष्ट करत आहे.

सही रे राहुल.. मस्त चिरफाड केलीयेस..
फेमस डायलॉग्स यात आणण्यासाठी तयार केलेले प्रसंगही किती केविलवाणे वाटतात. सोनियाला घेउन जाण्याचा प्रसंगही किती थोडक्यात उरकलाय. आणि शाहरुख हा कुठल्याही भुमिकेत शाहरुखच वाटतो असं माझे मत आहे.
असो. पापक्षालन म्हणून नविन डॉननंतर एकदा ओरिजनल डॉन पाहुन घ्यावा म्हणजे झालं.

गंमत आहे ना .. अमिताभ चा रोल केल्यामुळे इथे आपण सगळेच जास्त SRK ला नावं ठेवतोय
डॉन च्या रीमिक्सीकरण करणार्‍यांना , किंवा फ़रहान अख्तर वर जास्त खापर फ़ोडले पाहिजे !
शाह रुख काय 8-10 crore देत असल्यावर करणारच ना हा role... स्वत : BIG B पण जिथे पैशां ( कि स्वप्नं म्हणून ??) साठी गब्बर बनायला तयार आहे तर SRK कसा मागे राहिल
मला पण SRK आवडत नाही पण तरीही कभी हां कभी ना ,Yes boss, राजु बन गया जंटलमन , बादशाह , स्वदेस , देवदास ,DTPH मधे त्याचा अभिनय आवडला होता !
Sorry रे राहुल , तुझ्या BB वर बराच tp केल्या बद्दल .. क्या करे कंबख्त subject हि ऐसा है !!

मला जुना डोॅन खुप great वैगैरे वाटला नव्ह्ता.. पण अमिताभ आवडतो.. शाहरुख पेक्षा..
पण दीपांजली ने.. सांगितल्याप्रमाणे.. काही ठिकाणी फ़क्त शाहरुखच चांगला..वाटला.!!!

Interestingly you, as a reader & a movie bug (if u like classics), when watched these 2 films, going to compare both. Even director said that he's inspired by Classic. Shaharukh admited that Old is more vibrant, Chandra barot said, apane bachche hee to film banayee hai, achchi hogi, & on top of that, javed's remark....fundamentally koi difference nahi hai.
It finds me strange, that if the people, who ARE involded in these 2, comapred & accepted the fact, then why we public are chittering about these. If u wann to say, just say, Old wine in new bottle...........
OK, forget about the janata who know that theres a Amitabh's movie called DON & Farhaan's is remake. What about is any other international person, whos watching new DON first time. Yes I am putting direct review, from a person, who didnt watched old but is die-hard fan of Shaharukh & watched this movie for him. I Cant give my review coz If i want to put in words, then its better to erase Amitabh's old don b4 & then watch new masala-movie, which i cant do.
Now, as u might have seen petronas tower as a head quater (cant imagine petronas as HQ in dreams also....too beautiful tower to experience), this review has given by the girl, from malaysia, who is ready-to-die fan of Shahrukh(ppl needs to stop calling him king khan...........for them, watch KANK). In hariraya posa festival(we call it ramazaan-Id in india), the biggest commoddity which tops in selling, is shahrukh's movies & songs. Girls in malaysia & SIngapore are crazy for him. They specially learn Hindi as 3rd language to understand his dialogs. and theres no age limit, A daughter & her mother, staying near my block is as crazy as all the gl's.

after watching kANK(tickets sponsored by me), this family thought that DON might be different, so they arranged 1st days tickets in Jade theater near suntec, they also gave treat for hariraaya b4 movie. I was present there physically but not mentally in watching movie at all, coz i cant see izzat looting type of thing for a beautiful story. (better to mind my own business.....), but i was just sitting for there sake.
Usually gls do watch movie 5 to 6 times to see shaharukh (this gl watched DDLJ 10 times). so when movie finished(so relaxing for me), i casually asked Hows the movie. After hearing there reactions, i gave treat to that family next day, coz there thoughts were same that of mine. At the time of treat, i told them that, this is remake of old classic amitabh movie. That day, this family watched Old DON, & thanked me for dissipating there sorrow.

New song will bring public near to there last moment......cant imagine udit narayan;s talent gone for waste like this.)
