Nikonlover - fall colors look superb ...

I visited the local Art Museum last weekend (thanks to the free offer from the Smithsonian magazine last weekend).

Glass
From the William Morris: Myth, Object and the Animal collection - features works created by William Morris, who uses glass as his medium.

(from the museum website)
Morris' sculptures present an evocative study of how the forces of the natural world have shaped human existence throughout the millennia.

The lighting at the museum is pretty nice ... too bad i did not have a tripod. No slow shutter shots as a result.

prasik,
That's a tough one to focus.
What camera? what lens? manual or auto?
In addition to the focus, i like the composition.

Do you have a larger image?

Abedekar:
I liked the Smithsonian shot.

>as arati asked - have you raised the saturation yourself?

Hmm... now that depends on way you look at it. For this particular series, I think I used saturated/warm film to capture some the fall shots. So I can not say I did not raise saturation! I did not need to raise saturation level more in PS for this shot. I think colors were more vibrant than I was able to capture though!
Would I have postprocessed it to match scene I saw/imagined? Absolutely!
To me, it does not matter if you do it 'in Camera' or postprocess it in darkroom. What matters to me is - Was the final result looked/imagined the way you see the scene?
If the final result needs some desaturation or saturation in PS, then so be it. Bottomline is - does the final result work for you? - This is also personal taste. Sometimes I get bored of the saturated velvia images! Do I always like 'Double chocolate hot fudge icecream'? ..most of the times! But some times vanilla! :-)
