ह्यावेळी मी शेतात मोर नाचताना पाहिले. ३ मोर आणि ३ लांडोर होते. तब्बल अर्धा तास नाचत होते.

नलिनी या पैठणी नसुन "जामदनी" साड्या आहेत, हा पश्चिम बंगालातील एक प्रसिद्ध साडीचा प्रकार आहे, या अतिषय तलम व उच्च प्रतिच्या रेशमापासुन बनवतात.

I have a Minolta HiMatic E camera. Its in execellent condition (all original parts etc) एकच problem आहे. the lens has fungus on it. I have taken the following steps to correct this issue:
1. Used a hair dryer to kill/dissipate it
2. Taken it to a camera shop (ritz camera) where they initially said they don't do "mechanical" cameras.
3. On further pressing they sent it to a specialist, who said the only way to get the fungus out was to clean the lens from the inside !! (real "sherlock holmes" that one)
Does anyone have any idea how to clean the lens ? The manual mentions using a hair dryer, and I'll do that again today, but I hate to see such a great camera go to waste.

p.s. Some of the other Himatic cameras have the option of unscrewing the lens, but I can't find that option with this one. and yes, Prashant, this is the same camera I wrote to you about a year ago ! Still have not managed to "unscrew" the lens, because I keep worrying I'll damage it

I just checked the manual for himatic series (you know that it is a rangefinder and not an SLR, an any case rokkor is a very good lense). It is a fixed lense camera, so you can not change the lense or take it off.
I will give it to a good repairman. As I mentioned at that time, if there is no emotional value attached you can do it yourself. I recently aquired a very old Technika color(1958) with zeiss lenses. I changed the shutters myself and did CLA.
In any case, do not sell it off. You will hardly get any money for it. Just get it cleaned and put a BW roll inbetween and develop it at home. Just for that 'did it by hand' feel.
If you have a digital camera, take some pictures of the front and mail it to me. May be there is a way to just get the front element off.

Oh, and btw, fungus may or may not affect the picture. It should be removed for sure.

तुम्हा सर्वांसारखे मला पण फोटो share करायला आवड्तील...पण size कमी कसा करायचा...कुणी सांगेल काय?.... paint मधे save केले तरी size फ़ार कमी होत नहिये...

u can downlod picassa or irfan view,
they are free and do quite ok job.
