In a "Marathi article" I read about a very nice quote from the book " Chicken Soup for the soul -- by Margaret Fishback Powers". It says that the author and God were strolling along the seashore and the author saw in the skies the two pairs of footprints--- one of herself and the other that of God --- for the whole of her life except at those instances when she was in serious trouble. She asked the God why did He leave her alone at the time of crisis ? The God said since He loved her very much He took her on His shoulders and hence there was only one pair of footprints, that of Him. I would like to know the original quotation i.e. the exact wordings used by the auther. Can I get it ?

"Footprints" One night I dreamed a dream. I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonging to me and one to my Lord. When the last scene of my life shot before me I looked back at the footprints in the sand. There was only one set of footprints. I realized that this was the lowest and saddest times of my life. This always bothered me and I questioned the Lord about my dilemma. "Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You, You would walk and talk with me all the way. But I'm aware that during the most troublesome times of my life there is only one set of footprints. I just don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You leave me." He whispered," My precious child, I love you and will never leave you never, ever, during your trials and testings. When you saw only one set of footprints it was then that I carried you." --------------- Margaret Fishback Powers

ही आफ्रिकेतली एक म्हण आहे... त्यामुळे त्याचा लेखक असा कोणी नाही. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death. It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you better start running. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- very deep meaning
